2nd Web training session

On thursday the  24th March from 7-9 there will be a community web training session in the community room where we can answer most of your questions. We will also show you how to use the Bristol Estate website.

Computer training course

Bristol Estate communty room will host a computer training session on the 27th Jan from 7 to 9 to teach its residents how to operate their website.
Other users of the Joomla Software have also been invited to come along and learn tips and hints in the operation of their sites.

An exhibition consisting of 18 A1 boards showing information about
various aspects of the proposed redevelopment of Sussex County Hospital,
plus a model showing the redeveloped hospital and the surrounding areas
of Kemp Town will be exhibited at the Jubilee Library on Saturday 6th
November.

Redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital

You may already know about our plans for a major redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton.  The redevelopment, which will affect just under half the hospital site, includes improving the Sussex Cancer Centre, relocating and expanding the Regional Centre for Neurosciences (Hurstwood Park), replacing the medical and elderly care wards and creating a Major Trauma Centre.

RSCH meeting

You may know about our plans to redevelop the front half of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. Over the next six months we will be designing the 2,800 rooms as well as the layout of every department, public space and waiting area in the new buildings.

BE Fire

One person has been rescued from a blazing block of flats after it was engulfed by fire.

Two more people were treated for smoke inhalation after the fire broke out in Donald Hall Road, Brighton, at 5.38pm today.

CVSF Viewpoint: Sustainable Transport

CVSF Viewpoint: Sustainable Transport: Wed 7th July 6-8pm at Community Base conference room, Brighton.

This event will be a chance to hear about some of the transport plans and projects in the city, and to input into a refreshed CVSF Viewpoint on Sustainable Transport. If you have an interest in local transport issues please do attend this event as the views collected will feed into the development of the council’s next Local Transport Plan and will be used by CVSF elected reps sitting on the city’s transport partnership.
