You may know about our plans to redevelop the front half of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. Over the next six months we will be designing the 2,800 rooms as well as the layout of every department, public space and waiting area in the new buildings.
One person has been rescued from a blazing block of flats after it was engulfed by fire.

An action-packed Emergency Services Fun Day is being held in Brighton & Hove on Sunday 25th July.

Bus services in the city will be disrupted between 8am and 4pm. The first phase will be in operation until 11am when the city centre will be closed.
From 8am most buses approaching the city centre from the west (coming from Hove) will terminate near Churchill Square. They will turn up Montpelier Road, go along Upper North Street, down Regent Hill and terminate at Clarence Square facing back towards Hove. However the 6 will continue along its normal route to Brighton Station.
The Learning Festival are having a fantastic Recycled Fashion show at the Jubilee Library and Community Skills and Learning are offering a photography masterclass where you can come and use your own cameras to photograph the event.
