Information from the fire service
Dear all, The Fire Service provide free Home Safety Visits and will also fit smoke alarms free of charge if required. We particularly want to visit our vulnerable groups within the community, and some of your contacts mayknow who these groups and people are. This is essential as we recently had a fire death in our area,
the person was known to social services but not to us. They did not have a smoke alarm fitted that could have given them an early warning of a fire and may have saved their life. The contact details for this service are Freephone 0800 177 7069 Kind regards John Loveridge Roedean Fire Station Mob 07506 751462
